Nube 9

Nube 9 returns to Beatle Week for the 7th time! The band had some unforgettable moments at the festival, like the “Peace, Love and Understanding Concert” at the Anglican Cathedral, shows at The Philharmonic with special guests like Mark Hudson, Alan White, Joey Molland, Stevie Riks and Gavin Pring and multitudinous shows at Mathew Street Festival such as Liverpool’s 800th birthday celebration.

This year, Nube 9 has prepared some special shows like George Harrison’s full Albums “All Things Must Pass” and “Cloud 9” (in fact, this is the record that gave the band’s name) and “Traveling Wilburys and Friends”, including songs from Roy Orbison, Tom Petty, ELO, George and Bob Dylan.

In the last years, Nube 9 continued playing all around their country, Angentina, and also different places around the world, like Russia, Spain, Belarus, Panama, Uruguay, Brazil (with friends The Bluebeetles) and USA, where they became headliners at the Abbey Road on the River fest in Louisville, Kentucky, and shared stage with The Beach Boys.

They were the opening act for Ringo Starr’s first concerts in Buenos Aires and Brian Ray’s (Macca’s guitar and bass player) band on his solo tours. In fact, Lucrecia (Nube 9’s guitar player) is a member of The Bayonets alongside Brian.

With all the joy and happiness the band says: “It’ll be really great to see again all the audience with whom we share love for the best band ever: The Beatles!”
