Most of you know that Aggeu Marques has been around for over 20 years, enchanting crowds with his Paul McCartney ballads and rock songs. But it has also been 20 years since Guilherme “Bicudo” Rancanti has started following Aggeu, first as a fan, then as a guitar player and then as a co-leader inputing his own George Harrison gift into the band. The result is the Yesterdays you have all learned to love, whether by listening to the full Band on the Run set or the George-only songs that rocked the Cavern.
In addition to these known hits, this year Yesterdays will also bring the full Venus and Mars album, a celebration to its 40th anniversary. Such a great album to play (and listen) live! They will also team up with Lucas Bandeira from 3 of Us in order to further honour George and his friendship with Eric Clapton, with highlights from Live in Japan, among others. Aggeu and Guilherme will be joined by Marcelo Cioglia (bass), Sylvio Campos (keyboards) and Andre Godoy (drums) in five unmissable shows. See you there!
