Every Saturday we celebrate the music of the Fab Four in the place where it all began!
Covering all eras of the Fab Four’s music, the show reflects everything from the early days of the Cavern to Let It Be and beyond. This show is an absolute must for any Beatles fan. Their attention to detail both visually and sonically is second to none, and with an assortment of costumes and instruments you literally will be transformed back to The Cavern and the swinging sixties!
This theatre style show takes place in the Cavern Live Lounge, the very stage that Sir Paul McCartney played on his return to this historic venue in 1999. The Beatles played the Cavern Club 292 times between 1961 and 1963. Every Saturday we offer you the chance to sit in the place where it all began, with 4 authentic Liverpool lads on stage.
On February 9th 1961, The Beatles made the first of their 292 appearances at the now legendary Cavern Club in Mathew Street, Liverpool.
50 years on, The Cavern Beatles, a band fully endorsed and licensed by the same club will be back once again at their spiritual home.
The show is a Magical History Tour through the works of the greatest pop music phenomenon. Replicating, in both sight and sound, the excitement and energy of Beatlemania, the psychedelic era of Sgt. Pepper, and the creative masterpieces of The White Album and Abbey Road.
Four costume changes and lighting scenes compliment the changes in musical complexity as the show develops to it’s climax. The entire show is completely live with just the four musicians. There are absolutely no backing tracks or tapes used in the performance.
As ambassadors of “The most famous club in the world”, The Cavern Beatles bring to the stage the music that has now influenced 3 generations.
With their widespread appeal being more apparent than ever in the varying age groups that continue to follow the band, The Cavern Beatles are widely regarded as being as close to the real thing as they are ever likely to get.
This is a cabaret style show with a mixture of seated (limited) and standing areas. Get there early for seat!
8pm – Solo acoustic support artist, followed by featured show.
