Gary Gibson

Gary Gibson started singing rock ‘n’ roll in his teens, so it will be a pleasure for him to roll back the years and sing Lennon’s favourite music from the 50s at the Royal Court Theatre.

As many of you will know, Gary formed ‘Cavern’ in 1980, after the death of John in December of that year. His first experience on television was in 1985, ITN News breaking the news on a trailer he had filmed for a major company’s story on John Lennon which was going to be produced by the Bee Gees’ manager Robert Stigwood. Sadly Yoko said ‘no’ to the project. Gary then performed on the popular Granda TV show Stars In Their Eyes and the 1991 favourite is still being shown on Challenge TV to date!

He had constantly toured the world with his tribute to John – AMerica, Brazil, Italy, Canada, Nepal, Philippines, Israel, Jordan, Bermuda, Jamaica, Morocco, Oman, Thailand – and at present he is planning a major tour of Australia for 2016.

So on the 29th of August put on your Blue Suede shoes and let’s rock ‘n’ roll with Gary!
